1. Corporate Governance & Accreditation
We operate under the governance framework of the SEDC Group while meeting the regulatory benchmarks required of a premier human capital development institution.
- Wholly-Owned SEDC Subsidiary: Guided by the strategic oversight, audit, and risk management committees of SEDC Sarawak.
- HRD Corp Registered Training Provider: Fully certified under Pembangunan Sumber Manusia Berhad (PSMB / HRD Corp), ensuring all corporate programs meet national training quality and claimability standards.
- Trainer Code of Conduct: All instructors, assessors, and subject-matter experts adhere to strict professional pedagogical standards, fair evaluation practices, and non-discriminatory conduct.
2. Anti-Bribery, Anti-Corruption & No Gift Policy
ZERO-TOLERANCE INTEGRITY COMMITMENT
In compliance with Section 17A of the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) Act 2009 and the MS ISO 37001 Anti-Bribery Management System (ABMS) framework, SEDC Talent Hub enforces a zero-tolerance policy against all forms of bribery, corruption, extortion, and abuse of power.
Our "No Gift Policy" Sara Resorts Management Sdn Bhd practices a strict No Gift Policy across all operations:
- Prohibition: Directors, employees, certified trainers, and appointed contractors are strictly prohibited from soliciting or accepting gifts, corporate hospitality, personal favors, vouchers, or entertainment—directly or indirectly—from trainees, corporate clients, vendors, or any party with current or prospective business dealings.
- Trainees & Corporate Clients: Participants and client HR departments are requested not to present gifts, tokens, or personal gratuities to trainers or administrative staff before, during, or after training sessions.
- Vendors & Partners: Commercial partners and tenderers must not offer seasonal hampers, promotional gifts of significant value, or entertainment during procurement exercises or active contracts.
- Strict Exemptions: Only standard, nominal corporate souvenirs (e.g., event pens, notebooks, institutional plaques) distributed openly during official state functions, conferences, or ceremonies are permissible, subject to mandatory declaration.
3. Whistleblowing & Speak-Up Channel
We provide a secure, confidential mechanism for employees, business partners, trainees, and the public to report genuine concerns regarding improper conduct, financial malpractice, or policy breaches without fear of reprisal.
Whistleblower Protections:
- Reports are handled with strict confidentiality under the Whistleblower Protection Act 2010.
- Protection against detrimental action, discrimination, or retaliation for disclosures made in good faith.

4. Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA 2010) Notice
SEDC Talent Hub respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal data of all trainees, corporate clients, trainers, and website visitors.
- Data Collected: Full names, NRIC/passport numbers, contact details, employment history, training attendance records, and billing information.
- Purpose of Processing: Course enrolment, issuance of training certificates, HRD Corp levy claims processing, statutory reporting, and invoicing.
- Data Security: Personal records are stored in secure environments with restricted access controls. Data is never sold or disclosed to unauthorized third parties without explicit consent, except where required by law or regulatory bodies (e.g., HRD Corp, MACC, Inland Revenue Board).
5. Vendor & Partner Integrity Undertaking
All suppliers, service providers, and joint-venture partners doing business with Sara Resorts Management Sdn Bhd / SEDC Talent Hub must sign and comply with the SRMSB’s ANTI-BRIBERY AND INTEGRITY DECLARATION FORM, agreeing to:
- Refrain from offering bribes, kickbacks, or inducements to secure contracts or expedite claims.
- Immediately report any solicitation or demand for illegal gratification by any party representing the company.
- Comply with occupational health, environmental, and fair labor regulations in delivering contracted services.
